Setting up SMTP Authentication

Step 1:

Open Eudora, and go to Tools -> Options as in Fig 1.

Step 2:

Select the ‘Checking Mail’ icon on the left hand side. Double check that the 'Mail Server' is set to your incoming mail server (mail.graceba.net).  Check the box that is labeled ‘Save Password ’ as in Fig 2.

Step 3:

Select the ‘Sending Mail’ icon on the left hand side. Double check that the SMTP server is set to your outgoing mail server (smtp.graceba.net).  Check the box that is labeled ‘Allow Authentication’ as in Fig 3.

Note:

In order for SMTP authentication to work with Eudora, it is important that the user credentials that are entered for the POP server is set to your username followed by @graceba.net for the username. i.e. bob@domain.com instead of just bob.
